Dr. Groome is a molecular neuroscientist who investigates ion channels in nerves and muscle fibers. His lab works to understand the structural and functional relationship which allows ion channels to generate electrical signaling.

Adriene Pavek

My name is Adriene Pavek. I am from Pocatello, Idaho, and I am majoring in Biology at Idaho State University. At ISU, I play on the women's tennis team, being in the Honors Program, and hold leadership positions in three student clubs. Outside of school, I volunteer at both Portneuf Medical Center and the Pocatello Free Clinic, as well as assistant coach Century High School's varsity tennis teams. After graduating from ISU, I plan on attending medical school and then specializing in surgery. A c
